This policy explains what information THORA LLC (“Thora”, “we”) collects on this website, why, and the choices you have. It covers this marketing website only; the Thora application has its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for client accounts.
What we collect
We collect personal information in three situations:
- When you contact us. If you submit the contact form, we receive the details you provide: your name, company, work email, role, and message. We use them solely to respond to your enquiry and follow up about Thora.
- Analytics — only if you accept cookies. If you accept our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand site traffic: pages visited, how you move through them (scrolling, link clicks, and whether a form is started or sent — never what you type into it), approximate location, and device and browser details. Google signals and advertising features are switched off. If you decline, or make no choice, no analytics run and no analytics cookies are set.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard access logs — including IP addresses — for security and reliability. They are kept under the provider’s standard retention periods, and we consult them only to investigate faults or abuse — never to profile visitors.
We do not sell personal information, run advertising trackers, or collect data from this website for any purpose other than the three above. Where EU/UK data protection law applies, our legal bases are your consent (analytics) and our legitimate interests in answering the enquiries you send us and keeping the site secure (contact form and server logs).
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics cookies, and only after you choose Accept on the cookie banner:
- _ga — distinguishes visitors; expires after 2 years.
- _ga_* — keeps session state for analytics; expires after 2 years.
Your consent choice itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie, never sent to us). You can withdraw consent at any time: choose Cookie settings in the footer of any page — it forgets your choice, stops analytics, removes the analytics cookies, and the banner will ask again.
Who we share data with
- Google LLC — processes analytics data on our behalf if you accepted cookies. Analytics data may be transferred to and processed on servers in the United States (see Google’s privacy policy).
- Our hosting and email providers — infrastructure that serves this site and delivers contact-form messages to us.
We do not share your information with anyone else unless required by law. Fonts and images on this site are served from our own hosting — visiting a page sends no request to third-party font or media services.
How long we keep it
Contact-form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records, then deleted. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for a limited period (at most 14 months under its retention settings) and then deleted or aggregated.
Your rights
Wherever you are located, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. You can also withdraw cookie consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. Email privacy@thora-systems.com and we will respond promptly. Depending on your jurisdiction (for example the EU/UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have additional statutory rights; we honour reasonable requests regardless of where you live.
Children
This website is aimed at construction businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes to how we use data will be flagged on this page.
